- $7.7k Would typically be an entry level build cost for a basic small business web page
- $16.5k to $55k Is more likely for a business with any kind of specific needs or custom work requirements
- $100k ++ has been a typical cost on larger projects with any higher level of custom database driven functionality, which is our in-house speciality skillset. If you can imagine it, and scribble a picture on a piece of paper of what it does, we can build it. We are veterans of large integrated custom systems for both Government and Private contracts well into the $400k+ space. We can integrate your custom web application with custom IOS and Android phone apps. Giving you a complete service, end to end on the entire platform

How long is a piece of string?
- $33k - Custom mobile app development tends to start in this ballpark, for the basics. Few apps can be completed inside this budget. However if your looking for something simple or to 'skin' your mobile site into an app, then this can be acheivable
- $55k - A more likely IOS & Android app development starter price with typical feature sets seen in common apps, without heavy custom work
- $200k to $500k - Fully customised and integrated solutions built to suit your companies specific needs in complex detail, and API'd to various external and internal databases and systems
Hosting and Service
- $1100 /year - Typical price for an advanced Australian managed hosting service
- $1100 /year - Typical entry price for a minimal support contract offering occasional service on call to add/update/modify/graphic design & maintain your web site
- $1100 to $4400 /month - Typical Baremetal (Physical) managed server running costs per month, per box. Pricing varies depending on licensing / tech stack / Hardware / Datacentre choices.
- $10k to $20k /box - Typical baremetal (Physical) server purchase and setup cost
Monthly Ongoing Support & Dev Teams
Shipwreck Studio offers managed team development and support contracts for as little as the cost of one in-house employee. However where your employee may be a jack-of-all-trades covering your digital needs. Your Shipwreck Team Leader will organise and assign your different tasks to our employees with the correct skillset for each job. We have separate experts in each field on our staff. Today you might need a Javascript coder, but tomorrow a PHP coder, the next day a Graphic designer, the day after that an SEO expert or a Researcher?
No Problem!
- From as little as $4.4k /month we can dedicate a Team Leader to your account with access to all of our experts, Pricing varies right through to $22k /month and needs to be assessed on a case by case basis
SEO and SMM
Search Engine Optimization & Social Media Management Vary greatly in pricing depending on client needs. As with most disciplines Shipwreck Studio runs separate departments and Department heads for these fields as well
- $1100 - A typical monthly entry price for basic SEO or SMM, however a more common spend would be $3300 to $6600 per month. With some clients investing as much as $50k /month in these areas where needed

Google Ads Management
- $1100 One-time campaign setup fee
Monthly Management Fees
- $660 for ad spends up to $2,000
- $660 or 20% of ad spend (Whichever is greater) for ad spends over $2,000
- $1000 or 15% of ad spend (Whichever is greater) For ad spends over $5,000
- Custom pricing applies for ad spends over $20,000
- Why? Because each business is unique, and we tailor our efforts to meet your specific needs, ensuring you get the best return on your investment.
Minimum Engagement: 3 Months (Consistent)
- We recommend a minimum $2000pm in ad spend over 3 to 6 months for a typical small business
- This approach allows for effective campaign optimization and tangible results
Important Milestones Explained For New Advertisers
- 1 month - to work through the learning period and get to a point where we can start getting the tune correct
- 3 months - to see what the actual results will start to look like
- 6 months - to get the tuning to an optimum level
